Presentation of Rolls-Royce Grant

The squadron was presented with a grant of £300 from Rolls-Royce plc on the14th January 2003. This grant has been awarded to assist the cadets in purchasing equipment for the expeditions section of the Duke of Edinburgh’s Award Scheme. Cadets will now be able to borrow expensive equipment such as tents, stoves and rucksacks, eliminating the need for private purchase. Read the press release here.
