Hill Walking
Hillwalking is a popular activity in the ATC as it is a great way to keep fit and get outdoors. We even take part in competitions which take us all across the country. Previously, the squadron has walked the West Highland Way, which stretches the 95 miles from Glasgow to Fort William. Leg 1: Milgavie to Drymen
Back row, Right to Left: Ironside, Campbell, McLellan, McMillan,
CI Sim, Surgenor, Morrison.
The Dales Challenge is an annual event organised by 224 (Skipton) squadron ATC. It is an endurance race which must be covered in 12 hours. The squadron won this competition in 1996, and will win it again one year!
From right to left: Betty, Agnes, Mary... The three peaks is the ultimate endurance race. The three highest mountains in Scotland, England and Wales in under 24 hours.
