Inter-Flight Wars Competition

Rules of Engagement

The squadron is divided into two flights, Green and Red, and during each month both flights compete against each other in drill competitions, football matches, running, quizzes, debates etc. The scores are recorded and at the end of each month the best flight is announced. Competition is fierce as everyone wants their flight to win.

Aims of Inter Flight Wars

  • Promote further teamwork and communication between members of each flight.
  • Promote competition within the squadron.
  • Increase the effectiveness of each flight due to pressure from competitions, other flight members, and their flight leaders.
  • The Inter Flight Wars competition challenges each flight to improve their skills, introduce new skills to fellow flight members, and simply to be better than the rival flight.
  • Rewards for continual winners of the Inter Flight Wars are being considered.  I hope this will make competition even closer, for obvious reasons. The actual rewards themselves are being conjured up.
