Great Scottish Run

September 2007

The squadron plays an important role at the Great Scottish Run each year, assisting the police in the operation of traffic gates. These gates allow the traffic to continue flowing as well as ensuring the safety of the runners. This year we also took on a new location at Eglington Toll so that we could cheer on our new CO Fg Off Callan who was running in the 10K event for the first time. It was also made more eventful by a bus breaking down in the middle of the gate!
